Biography
Margaret E. Deck joined the Department of Management in 2008 as an instructor. She earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Virginia Tech and then spent over 20 years working in the automotive industry. At Federal-Mogul Corporation, she held various management positions including the areas of Quality, Production Control, Engineering, and Operations before becoming the Plant Manager of the Blacksburg, VA manufacturing facility. Her business experiences include Lean Enterprise implementation, union contract negotiation, grievance settlement and arbitration, project management, and strategic planning.
